At present, we work with the Aotea BYOD Support Group to donate refurbished laptops to students in need at Aotea College. As students at Aotea College ourselves, the equity issues surrounding BYOD in schools have been apparent for a long time.
Hadi and Owyn first started to address this by founding the BYOD initiative in 2017, but quickly realised that in order to increase the time and resources available to dedicate to the project, starting the social enterprise Remojo Tech was an obvious expansion.
Here at Remojo Tech, our experienced staff members will organise collection, data sanitisation and any necessary repairs to your old devices so as to give them a new lease on life. All devices are stored in a secure facility and we strive to operate at the high standards laid out in our business model. We're open to any concerns or requirements regarding this process.
